____________________________Tender Dock Gangway Safety Procedures for Vessels at Anchor
The ship’s crew shall be responsible for overseeing the safe embarkation and disembarkation of passengers between the vessel and the tender dock, ensuring that each passenger’s ship ID is verified before boarding. The port’s harbour master – or their designation – retains the authority to require the placement of additional mooring lines to secure the tender boat and minimize its movement alongside the dock. Furthermore, the harbour master may, at their discretion, close the tender dock at any time in response to adverse weather or other safety concerns.
