The Port of Corner Brook is home to the only international container shipping service in Newfoundland and Labrador. With weekly calls from MSC (Mediterranean Shipping Company), we provide global connections for both import and export cargo.

  • MSC calls at 500 ports on 200 trade routes, carrying some 21 million TEU (twenty-foot equivalent units) annually, via a modern fleet, equipped with the latest green technologies.
  • Dry cargo: this service provides the support and equipment to move some of the world’s most commonly traded commodities such as paper, white-goods and scrap metals.
  • Reefer cargo: this service provides strong experience and expertise in transporting goods and commodities, such as produce, meat, seafood, dairy products, and pharmaceuticals.

Canada Gulf Bridge Service

The Canada Gulf Bridge Service operates weekly out of the Port of Corner Brook. Once loaded, containers are transported to Freeport, Grand Bahama, The Bahamas, which serves as a major hub for the worldwide transshipment of containerized cargo. From there, containers are delivered to their final destinations around the globe.
